Eddyville Cardinals history
In the beautiful Wood River Valley in northern Dawson County.
Eddyville High is another school that makes one wonder if the district kept the school open one more year because it had strong athletes in the senior class. The Cardinals’ greatest year may have been their last in 1963-64. A pair of cousins keyed an undefeated football season and a great basketball season during Eddyville’s last school year.
